Classroom Aides

Full Time Position Description 
Rate: $14/hr.
Schedule: August-May, Monday-Friday, 7:30-3:15
 
Responsibilities:

1. Work with teachers to provide instructional support for students 
2. Small group/individual instruction
3. Help the teacher supervise the children in the classroom, playground, and cafeteria. 
4. Prepare materials for lessons
5. Other tasks as assigned by teacher
6. Pursue ongoing professional development
7. Substitute when needed
8. Attend in-service and special training days
    
   Other duties may be added by the principal

Requirements of the Position

1. Communicates clearly and effectively in verbal and written form
2. Uses a pleasant, relationship-building approach with people: students, parents, and educators
3. Listens, understands, and responds to needs of others and has strong collaboration skills.
4. Ability to present confidently
