Saint Patrick School is seeking the right candidate to join our teaching team as the PreK-4 lead teacher.

- Forming young children not just intellectually, but also physically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally in the rich Catholic intellectual and moral tradition
- Fostering in children a deep love of God, of Jesus, and of the Saints
- Fostering a Catholic Christian community within the classroom
- Providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students
- Following and enhancing the Diocesan curriculum by lessons that engage the senses and appeal to all learners
- Partnering with parents, the first educators of their children, through conferencing, communications, and volunteer opportunities
- Following all School and Diocesan expectations for St. Patrick School Teachers
Qualifications:
- Preferably a practicing Catholic, although others who believe they can enthusiastically and genuinely promote the Catholic faith may also apply.
- Bachelor’s degree and current teaching license in Early Childhood. Would also consider candidates with significant course work toward this end.
- Teaching experience preferred
- Creativity
- Understanding of the young child
- Highly effective communication and collaborative skills
- Openness to professional development is required.
