Principal's Welcome

Glory be to God! Welcome to Saint Patrick School!

With its rich history, Saint Patrick School has long been an integral part of the local community of McEwen and surrounds. We are blessed to welcome students from five counties to receive a Catholic education in the Saint Patrick Community.

At Saint Patrick School, in keeping with the teaching of the Catholic Church, we believe that education is a partnership between parents and the school. I consider it a privilege to enter into partnership with our families for the good of these beautiful children in pursuit of a Catholic education.

Saint Patrick was a zealous missionary and evangelist, whom we seek to follow in as disciples of Jesus. He is best known for his simple, yet clear explanation of the mystery of the Trinity – One God, Three Persons. We are baptized into the life of the Trinity, and through our baptism, the Trinity dwells within our souls through sanctifying grace. As we seek to grow in our devotion to Saint Patrick and a deepening of our Christian faith, the next three school years will focus on developing a deeper understanding of each Person of the Trinity. Beginning with the Father, the uncreated principal from which all proceeds, in the 2025-26 school year we will pursue a particular focus and emphasis on growing in our love for God our Father and our understanding of our baptismal consecration. In the following years, we will contemplate together God the Son and the mystery of His presence in the Eucharist, and God the Holy Spirit and His presence in our lives, especially through Confirmation.

I am grateful for your support to Saint Patrick School as we seek to form our children to be seekers of truth and bearers of love to a world deeply in need of the Father’s embrace.
