Substitute Teaching
Perfect schools are the result not so much of good methods as of good teachers, teachers who are thoroughly prepared and well-grounded in the matter they have to teach; who possess the intellectual and moral qualifications required by their important office; who cherish a pure and holy love for the youths confided to them, because they love Jesus Christ and His Church, of which these are the children of predilection; and who have therefore sincerely at heart the true good of family and country.

Come substitute with us!
We are looking to expand our substitute list at St. Patrick and offer a school community that expects our students to cultivate the virtues of Christ. We have high expectations for behavior for our students in a loving family atmosphere. When the teacher is not able to teacher the class for the day, we need dependable educators who can fill the gap. This position would be ideal for aspiring teachers, teachers taking a gap in their career, and for retired teachers. We also welcome other candidates with a bachelor's degree.
To apply, please send a cover letter stating your intent to apply for the position and the reasons you believe you would be a good candidate; a complete professional resume; a completed application form; and three letters of recommendations from persons in the field with contact information for these three references.
Please send applications to the principal Sister Veronica Marie at svm@sps-tn.org.
