Over seven years ago as a family we decided to forgo the common education system in order to center our three children’s education around Christ. St. Patrick School was exactly what our family was looking for. The school has nurtured and formed the whole child from within. St. Patrick's charming community brought not only a loving family environment, but has immersed and strengthened our children in the Christ-centered foundation that our children yearned for and that our world sadly lacks.

In choosing St. Patrick School for our children’s early and middle school education, we have seen them develop into faith-filled, active members of our community. This school helped to nurture our children by building a strong spiritual and academic foundation to prepare them for their high-school and college journeys that lay ahead.

I’d like to share the touching story of my first experience at St Patrick’s, and how that one experience made me want to be a member of that school community forever:

In May of 2016, I took Maggie Jane to Pre-K testing. The principal greeted us at the door, addressed Maggie Jane on her level, asked her what her summer plans were and walked her to the classroom. I thought that alone was sweet. Then, 3 months later, we walked in on the first day of school and the principal looked at Maggie Jane, got down on her level, and out of all the children coming and going, all the children she had seen already that day, all the names and activities and siblings and everything that the principal had to remember, she remembered MY BABY. She said, “Hello Maggie Jane, how were your swim lessons this summer? Were you a good helper for your baby brother, Clyde?”

I, as a mother, felt loved, seen and cared for because I KNEW my baby would be loved, seen and cared for at St Patrick’s. That one moment revealed that God’s love and grace was IN that school. I felt at peace about it from then on. I KNEW the principal and the other staff had been praying for her all summer by name. I could feel God’s love radiating through her and into me and my baby girl. I’ve never questioned whether this is where God wanted our children or not, because He let me know without a doubt right then! If that doesn’t make you want to love a school and support it forever, then I don’t know what else will!
